polycon - Project: Migros City, in Zurich / CH

In order to give the Migros City headquarters in Zurich a new face after more than 30 years of use, it was subjected to a comprehensive renovation. The new building envelope should be a perforated facade. The architects opted for facade elements made by polycon, a fire-resistant (A1) composite material made of glass fiber reinforced concrete. It is usually supplied in the form of panels that are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. In addition, polycon can be used for the production of home furnishings, acoustic panels, street furniture and much more.
