polycon - Project: Swisscom, in Langenthal / CH

The façade of the Bahnhofstrasse 16 building in Langenthal was generally refurbished in 2019; with the aim of replacing the previously very closed and deflective façade in favour of an inviting one, made of POLYCON glass fibre concrete. A total of 2,100 m² of polycon 3D elements and panels with 16 mm wall thickness were installed on the new building envelope. For this purpose, oversized elements with dimensions of up to 4,800 x 2,800 mm including a pre-assembled substructure were produced. Architect: Ducksch Anliker Architects AG
